Welcome to Providenciales...the Turks and Caicos Islands!
The Turks and Caicos Islands benefit from a very agreeable tropical climate with temperatures varying from 95˚(F) or 35˚ (C) in the summer, to 80˚(F) or 27˚(C) in the winter. The almost constant easterly island breezes keep the heat comfortable and make the island temperature feel cooler than thermometer readings. September and October are the hottest months of the year.
A British Crown Colony, Turks & Caicos Islands is a Caribbean paradise comprised of 40 islands and cays. It is located just 575 miles (927 km) southeast of Miami and 55 miles (88 km) southeast of the Bahamas.
Turks and Caicos Islands enjoy 350 days of sunshine each year. It may be one of the reasons why our Caribbean island nation is one of the fastest-growing travel destinations in the world.
Despite the growing popularity, the beaches remain uncrowded, the waters and reefs unspoiled, and the welcome — as always — is friendly and genuine.
Our islands are also surrounded by one of the largest coral reef systems in the world. The reef is 65 miles (105 km) across and 200 miles (322 km) long, providing world-class scuba diving and snorkeling.
The result is an ideal paradise for a beach vacation with family, friends or loved ones.
